English pottery from the Sylvan Works
SylvaC is the trade name of Shaw and Copestake, made in Stoke-on-Trent. Collectors come for the animals, jugs, glazes and mould numbers — and for Falcon Ware, which shares part of the same story. This site is a catalogue and a guide, not a shop.

This site is built by one person. The collecting life behind much of the reference material belongs to another. They are not the same story.
How we came to collect
We started with a five-pound jardinière in a charity shop and ended with around 12,500 pieces of SylvaC and Falcon Ware. The looking never really stopped.
